This will instruct you on how to connect your Star mPop Cash Drawer.
Note: The Cash Drawer connects to the Tablet via Bluetooth. So, to recognize the cash drawer in the SalesCloud POS App, you need to connect the tablet to the cash drawer in your Bluetooth Settings. Go to your Bluetooth settings on your tablet, and connect to the available cash drawer. The name will look something like “Star mPop xxx”. If you have multiple cash drawers that are available, then you can find the name of the device number on the bottom of your cash drawer.
- Go to your tablet settings (not SalesCloud App Settings) > Choose Bluetooth > Choose to pair the device that begins with Star mPop xxx.
- After the pairing is completed open up your SalesCloud POS App, open the settings menu, and choose the Connect to Printer option. You should see your Star mPop device in the new pop-up window.
- Hold your finger over that device and choose Connect. See Figure 1.1 in the image index below
- Repeat the previous step, and choose Remember
- Repeat this step one more time and Choose Set as the Default See Figure 1.1 in the image index below
- Click and enter the menu again, log out and in of your POS App twice, and test out your printer by going to the menu again and choosing Open Cash Drawer. If your cash drawer opens, you have successfully paired your cash drawer with your POS
