Here are details on how to a create variation attributes.
Variation Attributes are like categories within the Variation Sets and are the first step in creating Variations for your product. Think of Variations as the parent category of what goes with the dish. For instance. If you want remove or add extra toppings to your burger, then your toppings would fall under the Variation Attribute "Toppings". Then you would create Variation Set to contain the lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon, etc. See how to create Variation sets in How to create Variation Sets.
1. Log into admin.salescloud.is and navigate to Products > Variation Attributes
2. Click Add Attribute
3. Give the Variation Attribute a name (descriptive is better / the name will appear if used for online sales).
a. check Required if the customer must choose a variation under this attribute (example: type of meat for burger).
b. check Single if only one variation can be chosen under this attribute (example: one side with a main course)
c. check Multiple if more than one variation can be chosen under this attribute (example: two sides with a main course)
d. If multiple is checked then you must enter a number under Max Variations. This number defines how many variations can be chosen under the attribute (example: if you put in the number three then the customer can choose up to three variations).
