How to create a product

In this article we go over how to create a basic product.

1. Navigate to Products → Items

2. Click on Add item

3. Choose Product. A pop-up window will appear with five sections; Basic info, Advanced Pricing, Variations, Availability, and Accounting.

4. BASIC INFO: Give the product a Title, assign the relevant categories, and set the product price and tax percentage.

5. Save your product.

Extra settings:

1. Under advanced pricing you can
   1. set cost price,
   2. set sale price,
   3. exclude discounts,
   4. require popup in POS
   5. set location prices
2. Under variations you add variations if relevant to the product.
3. Under availability you can set where the product is available and the time of day it is available.
4. If you would like to define the SKU then you can do so under Accounting as well as add a barcode, accounting key, and main category.
