How to create an event

Steps on how to set up an event, set tickets prices, and times for events.

  1. Log into your back office and navigate to Products -> Items
  2. Click on Add item and choose Event
  3. Fill out the SKU, Title, Location, and Categories.
  4. Give your event a unique SKU
  5. Fill in the Title
  6. Define the events location
  7. Define the categories your event should be in.
  8. Add a description to your event.
  9. Set how long your event is under duration (in minutes)
  10. Set what the type of voucher; voucher, ticket, reservation, confirmation
  11. If the next event shouldn't start immediately then set pause between events
    E.g. Customers can book a session that is 45 min long but the next available session isn't until 15 min. later. In this case you set the duration to 45 and pause between events to 15.

  12. Add an image to your event.
  13. Set how many tickets can be sold.
  14. Now you define the sell period.
    1. Start sell date is when tickets will start selling
    2. End sell date is when tickets stop selling
  15. Set the price of a single ticket.
  16. Look for Reservation mode and choose whether you want it relaxed or strict.
  17. Minimum order quantity is always set to 1 but if you want customers to have to by at least 2 tickets then set this field to 2.
  18. Maximum order quantity controls how many tickets can be bought at a time.
  19. Maximum grouped quantity controls how many can book an event in total.
  20. There are two ways to define the date of your event:
    1. Recurring events such as booking a slot for darts at a dart bar
      1. Fill in start date and end date to define the booking window
      2. If you booking window includes e.g. a holiday and you do not want customers to be able to book that date add it to the Unavailable dates box. In this box the date format it mm.dd.yyyy
    2. Singular events such as a high school play
      1. Fill in the single date field below unavailable dates
  21. Save your product.
