How to pair a cash drawer to your POS system

Steps on how to connect your cash drawer to your POS system via bluetooth.

Step 1: Open the bluetooth settings on your tablet and locate the available "mPOP" printer. Note: If there are multiple POS systems in your establishment you may need to locate the particular cash drawer you want to connect to. You can do this by turning the drawer upside down and locate the last 3 digits of the serial number. e.g. If you see No: 25700000000000123. The drawer may appear as "STAR-mPOP BO123".

Step 2: Once a connection is established...

1. Open your SalesCloud POS app,
2. Tap theicon in the top right corner of your main screen in the POS app.  When the menu appears, tap Connect to Printer and list of available devices.
   1. Locate the device you paired before in step 1, hold your finger over it and choose Connect. 
   2. Then, repeat that one more time and choose Remember. 
      You can now tap out of that window.

Step 3: Test your newly paired cash drawer by restarting closing and restarting your SalesCloud POS app(be sure to log out and remove the app from running apps). Then restart your SalesCloud POS app. Tap theicon in the top left corner of your main screen, and choose Open Cash Drawer. If your cash drawer opens, you have successfully paired your cash drawer.
