Here we will go over Item sorting and how that affects the layout of the POS.
When logged into admin.salescloud.is you can find "Item Sorting" under Products in the menu on the left hand side. There you can change the sorting weight of each product which controls the set up of items in the POS (tablet). When an item is imported into SalesCloud it automatically comes with sorting weight 0. The thought behind sorting weight is that the lower the number is, the higher it rankes in the display. Lets take a look.
In back-office there are a number of items with sorting weight 0 = No number in gray circle.
This results in those products comin up in no particular order in the POS.
As soon as you give one of your items a number, you can also drag and drop in "Item Sorting" the rest of them will adjust. So lets say I want "Fisk dagsins" to be at the top and I drag it at the top of the sorting list and save, that item will get the sorting weight 0 and the next one 1 etc.
And the POS will follow these settings.
